Our City Forest (OCF) can provide free trees to eligible Morgan Hill residents. Use the map below to check your eligibility.

If you are ready to get your free yard or park strip tree, submit a tree stewardship application below. OCF will send a staff member out to make sure that we plant the right tree for your space. We will process your permits, provide your tree and teach you how to plant and care for your tree.

How to get your tree(s):

Step 1: 

• Fill out the Tree Interest Form below

• Indicate tree choice (if you have one) - or ask for tree selection assistance

Step 2:

  • Our City Forest will consult with you regarding your tree selection and planting location

  • Our City forest will obtain a permit through the city as needed

Step 3: 

• Our City Forest will guide you to plant your tree!
