Free Trees
When you are ready to get a tree, please submit a Tree Interest Form below. Eligibility for our current grant funding is location-based (please see map below). Our staff team can help confirm your location-based eligibility for free services.
Our City Forest will make sure that we plant the right tree for your space. We can help you acquire a planting permit from the City of San Jose if needed. We will help you select a tree from our nursery and can teach you how to plant and care for your tree. All Tree Stewards will be supported with 3 years of resources and tools to get your tree established. Your tree may also qualify for free follow-up services from Our City Forest.
