Not in a Grant Area?
If your address is not in a highlighted zone, that means there are currently no free tree grants available for your location. However, Our City Forest is committed to making trees accessible to all communities across Silicon Valley, not just those covered by current funding. Through community fundraising and donations, we offer low-cost, high-quality trees to all residents. You can still get a beautiful 15-gallon tree from our Community Nursery for a tax-deductible donation of $150–$200. Your contribution helps us continue providing trees to underserved neighborhoods and expanding green equity across the region.
Step 2: Visit the Community Nursery
Trees are available to all at Our City Forest’s Community Nursery.
1000 Spring Street, San Jose, CA 95110 | Open 9am-12pm Thursday-Saturday
Our team can help match you with a tree that fits your space, whether you are in a grant zone or selecting a tree through our donation program.
Please note that grant programs are available until funding runs out. Grant eligibility will be verified by our team when you select an available tree at the Community Nursery.
