The City of Saratoga is pleased to announce a program to encourage Saratoga to plant more trees on their private properties starting October 2024. If you are currently a qualified resident, you can learn more below, or email trees@ourcityforest.org with any questions or concerns.
This program has been designed to reinvigorate the community at a very low cost to the homeowner. Property owners may receive a discount for 15-gallon trees and up to two 5-gallon trees. Trees must be planted in the property’s front yard and chosen from the list of approved trees. Our City Forest will handle all ordering logistics, planting, and permitting – you agree to be responsible for the tree for its lifetime.
How to get your tree(s):
Step 1:
•If you qualified for a discount through the City of Saratoga, please fill out the Stewardship Agreement with Our City Forest below. By filling out this form, you understand that Our City Forest (OCF) provides information on the care of the tree(s) and that it is your responsibility, as the Tree Steward, to oversee their care.
Step 2:
• Fill out Tree Stewardship Application and include any checks payable to the City of Saratoga if you have not done so.
