The OCF Community Nursery and Training Center is home to hundreds of homeless trees. The Nursery is a community service provided by Our City Forest to connect the resources of available trees to worthy planting projects ready to adopt trees. The Nursery is open to visitors every Thursday to Saturday 12:30 - 3:30 for browsing and tree-pick up.

To Donate Trees:

You can call Our City Forest at (408) 99-TREES to discuss the size, quantity, and species of tree and to arrange a time to drop off the trees.

To Get A Tree:

Interested in a tree or trees for your park strip, front yard, or back yard?

Interested in trees for your school, neighborhood group, block committtee, ecology club, girls or boys club, church, senior group or service club? Work with Our City Forest to beautify your community.

Workshops

Tree Planting Workshops:

If you have chosen to adopt a tree, we ask you to attend one of our tree planting workshops at our Nursery.  The workshops are free of charge and provide information and demonstration of how to plant and care for your young tree.  Click here to see our calendar of events for workshop dates.

Tree Care Workshops:

We offer tree care workshops periodically throughout the year. Workshops include information and demonstrations of proper staking, mulching, berm adjustments, and an introduction to pruning.
